Traffic Advisory: First Street and Beaufort Avenue Closure

As construction along First Street continues, the block of First Street between Maryport and Penrith, will be closed during construction hours (7am-6pm). Vehicle access to First Street from Beaufort Avenue will be restricted during the day as well as overnight.
This phase of construction is estimated to take 3-5 weeks. Detour routes around the work zone via Penrith Avenue, Second Street and Maryport Avenue will be in effect during construction hours. Access to the Cumberland Community Health Centre will be maintained via the Cultural Centre parking lot for vehicles travelling north along First Street or for those travelling eastbound on Beaufort Avenue.
