Happy holidays to all Cumberland residents from Council and staff.
Village Office Holiday Hours
Closed from Monday, December 25 until Monday, January 1, 2024. The office will re-open to the public Tuesday, January 2 at 9:00 a.m.
Building Inspections
No inspections the week of December 25 – January 1st. Inspections may be booked again as of January 2, 2024.
Cumberland Recreation Holiday Hours
Cumberland Recreation is open regular hours over the holidays except for the following dates:
December 24-26: Closed
December 31-January 1: Closed
**Please note the following special Youth Open Gym times over the holidays:
Wednesday, December 27, 1:00-4:30
Thursday, December 28, 1:00-4:30
Friday, December 29, 12:45-2:30
Tuesday, January 1, 1:00-4:30
Thursday, January 4, 1:00-4:30
Public Works Emergency Call Service
For public works emergencies that require immediate attention for health and safety reasons, please call 250-336-2291 and select the option for Public Works Emergency Call Service.
- a sewer leak on the roadway
- a water leak on the roadway
- a downed tree on roadways
- a dead animal on the roadway that is a hazard to traffic
- missing stop signs
- a hazardous spill on roadways that is not related to a motor vehicle incident
- an unsecured municipal building or park buildings
