Noise Bylaw Exemption for Asphalt Plant Operation

Cumberland residents are advised that the Village has approved a temporary noise bylaw exemption to allow morning operation of the asphalt plant at 4554 Cumberland Road, Mondays to Saturdays, from September 18 to October 9, 2026 starting at 6 a.m. to accommodate a Ministry of Transportation and Transit project.
Residents impacted by the noise may contact the asphalt plant directly at 250-334-6250 or submit comments to the Village Office at 250-336-2291 or info@cumberland.ca during regular office hours.
