Update: As of 3 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2015 the boil water notice has been lifted.
The boil water notice for the Cumberland water system remains in effect.
The Village is working with Island Health on the required water sampling and testing. The boil water notice will not be ended until testing concludes there is no further risk to health and that the water is safe to drink.
Tap water should be boiled for one minute. Find out more from Island Health on what to do during a boil water notice.
