Catch Basin Maintenance Underway

Public works is starting annual cleaning of storm water catch basins. Underground catch basins are designed to catch debris and sediment from the roadways to prevent it from entering the storm sewer system.
Cleaning catch basins removes this dirt and debris from our storm system and keeps storm water flowing and reduces localized flooding during rain events.
