The Village of Cumberland is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team for a one-year full time temporary term. As a key contributor to the Village’s successes, the CFO will work closely with the leadership and Finance teams to ensure the Village meets its financial objectives. The ideal candidate will work well in a challenging, fast-paced, progressive environment.
The Chief Financial Officer, reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (and former CFO) is appointed as the Financial Officer for the municipality and is assigned responsibility for overall financial management. The CFO is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the Village’s overall financial plans, policies, and accounting practices. As a member of the senior management team, the CFO will work closely with the leadership and Finance teams to implement improved financial processes and efficiencies.
