LUSH Valley Can Help Pick Your Unwanted Fruit

You can help reduce human-bear conflicts and prevent bears from being destroyed by removing some of the things around your home that attract bears.
The LUSH Valley Food Action Society can help by picking the fruit on your trees.. Through the program Volunteers take 1/3rd of the share, homeowners took the other 1/3rd while LUSH Valley focused on directly redistributing their share of food to local organizations and community schools. If you have a backyard compost, maintain an odourless pile, turn regularly, and keep covered.
