Notice of Forestry Operations-Mosaic Forest Management

Posted on

Mosaic Forest Management and the United Riders of Cumberland (UROC) wish to advise users of the Trent Mainline and spur road TR129 and Further burger trail will be closed to all access and that forestry operations are planned to begin (orange areas highlighted) on September 7th, 2023. Operations will be underway for approximately four to six weeks. For your safety please obey signage and avoid this area during hours of operation which are Monday to Friday 6am to 430pm. Please do not enter active areas and surrounding trails during hours of operation.

At Mosaic safety is the highest priority. When any activities are taking place Mosaic employees and contractors abide by strict safety rules. Mosaic and contractors expect trail users to respect the worksite and not enter any active or closed areas – please don’t cross closed signage.

Mosaic Forest Management currently provides UROC with an Access Agreement to the private managed forest lands in and around Cumberland. This agreement enables both groups to work together in the creation of trails strategies that support mountain biking, race events, tourism and recreation.
