This is to provide notice that the Council of the Village of Cumberland will consider an application for renewal of a temporary use permit at the meeting on Monday, June 23, 2025.
Subject Property: 4693 Cumberland Road, legally described as Lot A, District Lot 24, Nelson District, Plan VIP56393.
In general terms, the purpose of the proposed permit is to allow automobile servicing on the subject property. Hartley’s Garage has operated with a temporary use permit (TUP) for the past three years. The TUP has now expired and since automobile servicing and repairs is not a permitted use in the R-3 Large Lot Residential Zone, the applicant has applied to renew the TUP for another three years. There are no changes to the operation proposed by the applicant.

• In person to the Village Office at 2673 Dunsmuir Avenue, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. except on holidays.
