Perseverance Creek Streamkeepers Present Artwork for Display at Village Office

The Society has been recognized for its 10 years of work to protect Cumberland’s salmonid resources in Perseverence Creek through its annual salmon fry rescue work, swamp clean up and community education.
The Society’s goals include to
- Monitor and evaluate stream conditions in Perseverance Creek
- Protect and restore local aquatic habitat
- Educate the public about the importance of watershed resources
- Encourage communication & cooperation in watershed management
