Village Crews Working to Remove Windfalls on Trail System

Village crews have now cleared branch and tree windfalls from the main trails in the Cumberland Community Forest and some trails in Coal Creek Historic Park, however many secondary trails as well as trails furthest from the Village centre have not been cleared.
Park users are asked to continue to use extra caution when in the parks and to report any safety issues such as snags, hazard trees, trail damage or windfalls to the Village at 250-336-2321 or Kevin McPhedran, Parks and Outdoor Recreation Coordinator.
