Village Flags Lowered in Memory of Residential School Victims

Posted on

The flags at the Village office and fire hall have been lowered in honour of the children taken to residential schools and their families, and in memory of those who did not survive.

For former students and those affected, a National Indian Residential School Crisis Line has been set up to provide support. Emotional and crisis referral services can be accessed by calling the 24-hour national crisis line: 1-866 925-4419.
