WildSafeBC Offers Electric Fencing Demonstration
Posted on
WildSafeBC Provincial Coordinator Frank Ritcey will be coming to Cumberland on Monday July 17, 2017 to hold a demonstration on setting up electric fencing. It will be held from 6:30 to 7:30pm outside the Cultural Centre/OAP (2674 Dunsmuir Avenue).
Electric fencing can be easy to set up and is a great deterrent to keep many animals, including bears and raccoons, out of gardens, chicken coops, and fruit trees.
WildSafeBC is a program offered by the BC Conservation Foundation. It is designed to reduce human-wildlife conflict through education and other initiatives.
