First Phase of Paving Complete on Cumberland and Bevan Roads

Paving is complete on Bevan Road, and on Cumberland Road to west of Hope Road. All residences and businesses are now easily accessible from downtown Cumberland.
The work remaining is a relatively small section of road near Union Road, but construction will be slow due to wetlands in the area. The detour route is still in effect Monday to Friday from 7 am to 7 pm for efficiency and safety.
