Employment Opportunity: Summer Student – Public Works

The Village of Cumberland is currently accepting applications from post-secondary students seeking summer employment with the Village Public Works Department.

Under the direction of the Public Works Foreman the student will be responsible for performing duties related to parks grounds maintenance including grass mowing and trimming, collection of litter and other related duties as assigned. This position may also include trail maintenance including pruning of trees, and basic assistance in the Public Works operation as required.

Two positions are available. The successful candidates will work a full-time 37.5 hour week as per the Collective Agreement in the Public Works Department for the summer period to the end of August.
