Did you know that Cumberland public works has been salting roads whenever the temperature dips since November?
With a chance of snowfall now in the forecast, residents are reminded to do their best to park in your driveway or as far off of the traveled portion of the road as possible when snow is expected so crews can do a better job clearing snow.
It’s also important to remove all personal property from the boulevard and road right-of-way, such as sports equipment. This leaves more room for snow storage and and prevents your property from being damaged by snow plowing operations.
