Volunteers Sought for Maple Lake Fundraising Committee

Cumberland Council is inviting interested individuals and community organization representatives to apply to volunteer on the committee to raise funds and promote public donations to Village for the purpose of purchasing the Maple Lake lands for public park.
Individuals having experience with fundraising, outdoor and recreational pursuits, and habitat and wildlife conservation would be a benefit to the committee. You do not have to be a resident or an elector of Cumberland to apply.
View the Fundraising Policy and the committee’s terms of reference for more information. Council may appoint up to twelve individuals to the committee.
Please submit a letter expressing your interest along with relevant information on your background and experience to Mayor and Councillors

Personal information is collected under the authority of s. 26(c) of the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act for the purpose of determining the suitability of applicants to the Maple Lake Fundraising Committee. Personal information collected will be only be used for this purpose and will be disclosed to Council members in order to appoint individuals to the Committee.
