Wastewater Upgrade Project Open Houses and Town Hall

Come talk about the wastewater treatment project on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in the afternoon and evening.
Two open houses and a town hall meeting are being held in Moncrief Hall (second floor) of the Cultural Centre at 2674 Dunsmuir Avenue at First Street.
There are two open house times which are followed by a town hall meeting at 7:30 pm with Council members.
Open House from 3 to 4:30 pm
3:00-3:30 – poster board viewing and informal discussions with technical staff and Wastewater Advisory Committee members
3:30-4:00 – technical presentation
4:00-4:30 – Q & A
Open House from 6 to 7:20 pm
6:00-6:30 – poster board viewing and informal discussions with technical staff and Wastewater Advisory Committee members
6:30-7:00 – technical presentation
7:00-7:20 – Q & A
Town Hall from 7:30 to 9 pm
With Cumberland council members and opportunities for Q & A
Cumberland voters are being asked to allow the Village to borrow up to $4.4M to upgrade the existing wastewater system to bring it into compliance with provincial regulations at the 2018 general local election on October 20, 2018.
