ELECTION – Candidate Nomination Period Closes at 4pm Today

Interested candidates have until 4:00 pm today (September 9, 2022) to submit their nomination papers.
The filing period for candidate nominations if from August 30, 2022 at 9 a.m. to September 9, 2022.
Candidate nomination forms for the offices of Mayor, Councillor, and School Trustee for Cumberland (Area 3) must be received by the Chief Election Officer at the Village of Cumberland office during the candidate nomination period.
It is recommended that candidates make an appointment to submit nominations by contacting Rachel Parker, chief election officer at 250-336-3005 or rparker@cumberland.ca.
