An official community plan (OCP) is a statement of objectives and policies to guide decisions on planning and land use management.
The Cumberland Official Community Plan includes:
- updated demographic information (Part A)
- a community vision and goals (Part B)
- land use policy direction on climate change, the natural environment, built environment, economic development, and community well-being (Part C)
- implementation tools including development permit areas and a heritage conservation area (Part D)
